We are excited to offer our first Next Steps Oil Painting course, this time, focusing on Portrait Painting.
 
This two-day course will take you through the principles of portrait painting, helping you to create a likeness.  Day one will be working from images, learning how to use the grid method and create an underpainting, finishing off by adding colour, thinking about warm and cool tones and creating depth.  Day two will be a full day portrait session with a model, painting from life, a great opportunity to test your new skills!
 
This course is perfect for those who have used attended our Intro to Oil Painting course, or for those who have some (even limited) experience in oils.
