Old Dairy Studio is an inclusive art studio that offers a wide range of art courses for all ages and abilities. The studio is dedicated to teaching art in different mediums, catering to diverse groups of people. Old Dairy Studio will be opening in September 2024, aiming to provide a welcoming and creative environment for art enthusiasts.
Meet the Team

Founder, Tutor and Arts Psychotherapist
Kira Torrens-Spence
Kira is Old Dairy Studio's founder and teaches beginners and intermediate courses in drawing, oil painting and printmaking. She now predominantly paints in oils, specialising in portraits, figures and still life.
Kira completed a BA Hons in Fine Art in 2007 before becoming an Army Officer, serving in the Royal Army Medical Corps for 16 years.
Whilst in the Army, Kira became aware of the positive influence of Art in recovery from Mental Health issues and is in the process of studying towards an MA in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy. She started her in-house private practice in August 2025.

After School Art Tutor
Sue Faux
Sue is our After School Arts tutor and is bring over 23 years of teaching experience to Old Dairy Studio.
Sue previously ran a thriving business, Faux Arts in Marlborough where she honed her skills in working with children to allow them to achieve their full artistic potential.
Sue is a professional artist who has had an incredible career, exhibiting twice at the National Portrait Gallery in London. Her work is based on the techniques used by Old Masters, taking inspration from the people and places around her to create whimsical narratives.
